1. Po Nagar Temple Nha Trang

Po Nagar Temple, also known as Po Nagar Cham Towers, is a unique architectural complex and a major tourist site of Nha Trang City. Built between the 7th and 13th centuries, this impressive Cham temple Nha Trang was dedicated to the goddess Po Nagar (the goddess of earth), who is believed to have taught agricultural and weaving techniques to the Cham community.

Upon arriving at the site, you will find the temple complex on top of a small hill. It is divided into four areas: the gate tower, the vestibule (Mandapa), the temple tower, and the inscription area. One special thing about this site is that the towers are built of terracotta bricks. You can easily see numerous terracotta figures that depict fairies, gods, or legendary creatures on the body of the towers. 

Nowadays, this site is one of the most famous Nha Trang temples and has a continuing religious significance. Make sure to remove your shoes before entering and dress modestly when visiting Po Nagar Temple.

2. Thanh Son Monastery (Nha Trang Clay Temple)

Thanh Son Monastery has become one of the most popular spiritual attractions in Nha Trang. Here, tourists will be attracted by the stunning and distinctive architecture reminiscent of Myanmar and India’s towers and pagodas.

Entering the grounds of this Nha Trang temple, you will be overwhelmed by the giant statues of Arhats encrusted with gold. Here, you will seem to be lost in an old palace filled with intricately carved Buddha statues and walls. There are Buddha statues of all shapes, sizes, and materials.

3. Tu Ton Nha Trang Temple

When it comes to Nha Trang temples, tourists should not miss out on Tu Ton Temple. This temple was built in the 1960s by the monk Thich Vien Man, located on Hon Do Island, only about 300 meters away from the shore.

Tu Ton Temple stands on the peak of a beautiful natural red rock. Tourists can easily get to the temple at low tide. However, at high tide, you must travel by motorboat to get to it.

Thien An Dam Mon Temple has an area of 4,362 meters. The architecture of this Nha Trang Temple is a harmonious blend of Japanese and traditional Vietnamese styles. Tiled roofs, red columns, and white walls are all impressive highlights at Thien An Dam Mon Temple.

The temple is situated on beautiful terrain, facing the sea on all sides and leaning against a solid mountain. With a fresh and tranquil atmosphere, the temple is an ideal place to visit in Nha Trang.

5. Da Lo Nha Trang Temple

Da Lo Temple, also known as Tong Lam To Son Temple, offers ample space and a tranquil setting, making it the perfect destination to unwind on a weekend vacation. After 10 years of construction, this Nha Trang Temple was completed with a 44-meter-tall Buddha statue, the largest of its kind in Vietnam.
