Route 1: Drive across Tan Vu Bridge. When you reach the intersection near VinFast Automobile Factory, follow the signs to Dong Bai Ferry Terminal. This route also leads to the cable car station. The ferry terminal is about 2 kilometers away from the Tan Vu – Lach Huyen Road. From there, you can take a Cat Ba ferry to reach Cat Ba Island. Alternatively, you can take the cable car.
Route 2: Head to Binh Wharf in the city center. From there, you can take a speedboat to Cat Ba Island.
