5. Notes for visitors to Cu Lao Cham Islands Vietnam

5.1. Best time to visit

According to the experience of many tourists, you should travel to this island cluster between March and August. In this season, this place has warm sunshine, calm sea and little rain, so you can participate in many activities such as swimming, scuba diving, playing watersports, etc.

5.2. How to get there

Cu Lao Cham is located 18 km from Cua Dai Beach and 45 km from Da Nang City, with two main transportation options available: speedboat and wooden boat.

The speedboat option costs 350,000 VND, covering the boat ride (260,000 VND), sightseeing fee (70,000 VND), and environmental and security fees (20,000 VND). Children under 12 months travel for free, while those aged 1 to under 8 pay half the adult fare. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

Wooden boats, which primarily serve locals and transport goods, take around 90 minutes to reach the islands.

For convenience, visitors can opt for a full-day tour package available through travel agencies or hotels in Hoi An Ancient Town, Tam Ky City, or Da Nang City. These packages, priced between 500,000 and 700,000 VND per person, typically include round-trip transportation, a meal, sightseeing fees, and activities.

Once on the islands, visitors can explore on foot or rent a motorbike for 120,000 to 150,000 VND per day, depending on the type.
