It is the first private museum in Central Vietnam, owned by artist Doan Huy Giao. At Dong Dinh Museum, there are four main sectors, including the antiquities exhibition area, the fine art exhibition area, the fishing village memory house, and the ethnography gallery.
2.1. See a collection of precious antiquities
The antiquities exhibition area consists of two Ruong houses built in the traditional style. Here, you can admire the ancient artifacts of 54 ethnic groups from north to south.
In this place, visitors can also find valuable collections of pottery and antiquities that belong to many different cultures, such as Sa Huynh, Champa, Dai Viet, or even Chinese. There are unique items dating back from 100 to 2,500 years that were found in Tra Kieu citadel, Quang Nam.

Unlike other houses, the art exhibition area at Dong Dinh Art Museum is designed in a modern style with an airy open space combined with the beauty of the pristine forest. There are many fine artworks belonging to the famous artist Dinh Y Nhi on display here.
Visitors can also marvel at the color paintings combined with the mask of artist Dang Viet Trieu, all of which create harmony between painting and sculpture.

3. Other famous museums in Da Nang to visit once

The outdoor exhibition sector includes Uncle Ho’s stilt house, a garden, and a fishing pond, along with an open display area for large weapons such as tanks, guns, airplanes, and armored vehicles used to fight the enemy in the national liberation.

This Cham Museum was established in 1915 and has confirmed its position as a place to preserve typical artifacts of the Champa Sculpture arts. Located in the heart of the city, the museum captivates visitors’ attention with its French architectural style and several unique structural features of cham towers in the central region.
The museum implies significant historical and cultural values of the Cham. Around 2000 artifacts, images, and unique symbols were displayed here to present and express spiritual meanings. There, visitors can also admire the statue of the goddess Tara – a masterpiece of the ancient art of Cham.
