4. The best time to visit Paradise Cave

The climate around Paradise Cave has the features of both Northern and Southern Vietnam, with two distinct seasons: the dry season and the rainy season. The dry season lasts from April to August, while the rainy season begins in September and ends in March. The hottest months of the year are typically from June to August. 

The ideal time to explore Paradise Cave is from April to May. During this period, the weather is cool, providing a comfortable environment for cave exploration.

5. Guide to getting to Paradise Cave in Quang Binh

From Dong Hoi City, you can take a taxi to Paradise Cave for convenience. Alternatively, you can rent a motorbike to ride there yourself. In this case:

  • Take National Road 1A north, then turn left onto National Road 16
  • Follow this road all the way to Xuan Trach Commune of Bo Trach District, where you will turn left onto National Road 15
  • Go straight for another 5 kilometers to reach the entrance to Paradise Cave Ecotourism Area.

The ride from Dong Hoi City to Paradise Cave will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. At the entrance of the ecotourism area, you will find a parking lot which is about 1.5 kilometers away from the cave. Here, you can either take a golf cart or walk the distance to reach the cave. Upon arriving at the base of the cave, you will need to climb 500 steps to reach the cave entrance.

6. Things to eat on your trip to Paradise Cave

Located right at the heart of Paradise Cave Ecotourism Area, Paradise Cave Restaurant is just 50 meters away from the ticket counter, on the left side of the parking lot. This restaurant is designed with the traditional architecture of the Central Highlands, featuring stilt houses with palm leaf roofs.
