Initially a hub for communication among Chinese immigrants, it evolved into a place of worship for sea gods, reflecting the community’s hopes for safety and success in their maritime pursuits.

Nowadays, it draws visitors with its beautiful architectural aspects and detailed carvings that cover its walls and columns. This assembly hall is a living reminder of more than 170 years of history, reflecting Hoi An’s transformations and advancements.
