1. Where is Vietnam Museum of Literature? How to get there?

Vietnam Museum of Literature, one of the most famous Hanoi museums, was established in 2011. After years of collection, the museum was officially opened to visitors in 2015, at 275 Au Co Street, Tay Ho Ward, Hanoi. It was once the Quang Ba Literary School of the Vietnam Writers’ Association in the 60s-70s, preserving many memories of famous writers.

Visitors can reach the museum conveniently by motorbike, taxi, or bus. Several bus routes pass by Au Co Street, including routes number 31, 33, 41, 55, and 58.

2. The exhibitions at Vietnam Museum of Literature

The museum boasts both indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, inviting visitors to explore the development of Vietnamese literature.

The second floor showcases the themes of “Ho Chi Minh Award prize-winning writers” and “Xom Choi cultural space,” where the Vietnamese Writers’ Association operated during the resistance war against the French.

2.2.3. The 3rd floor

The third floor honors the theme “State Award prize-winning writers,” chronicles the history of the Vietnamese Writers’ Association Congress. It also hosts exhibitions on Vietnamese literature in the contemporary period. Additionally, the museum has sections dedicated to the “Cultural life of Vietnamese rural communities” and “International literary cooperation and exchange.”
