3. When is the best time to visit Dam Trau Beach?

Dam Trau Beach is beautiful year-round, with pleasant weather in every season. Still, the best time to visit is from March to September. During this period, the warm weather is ideal for beach activities. 4. How to get to Dam Trau Beach in Con Dao?

The fastest way to reach Con Dao is by flying directly to Con Son Airport. There are direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho to Con Dao, which are operated by Vietnam Airlines. Dam Trau Beach is about 14 km away from the center of Con Dao. Once you land, you can rent a motorbike, take a taxi, or hail a motorbike taxi to get to the beach.

If you opt to rent a motorbike, follow this route to get to Dam Trau Beach yourself:

  • Make your way to Phan Chu Trinh Street. Head east.
  • Go to the end of Phan Chu Trinh Street and steer right onto Nguyen Chi Thanh Street
  • Make a sharp left turn onto Co Ong Road
  • Follow Co Ong Road all the way to the end
  • At the end of Co Ong Road, you will see Dam Trau Beach on your right
