There are two ways to travel from Hanoi to Mu Cang Chai depending on your choice of vehicle. For motorbikes, follow National Road 32 all the way. For cars, take the Hanoi-Sapa Expressway, turn left at the IC12 interchange, follow the road, then turn right to join National Road 32 to La Pan Tan. The journey spans about 300 kilometers and takes over 6 hours. Along the way, the scenery gradually shifts from the bustling streets of Hanoi to rolling mountains.

Although La Pan Tan is incredibly beautiful, the roads to get there can be challenging. It’s important to prepare properly before your trip:
