2. How long does it take for a Hue Hoi An trip?
As the distance between Hue and Hoi An is not too far, driving time is approximately 3.5 hours. Thus, a Hue to Hoi An tour is ideal for your tight traveling schedule. In fact, if you want to explore the ancient town at night, you are suggested to stay in Hoi An and take a day trip to Hue’s many tourist sites.

3. The best time of the day to start your Hue Hoi An journey
The best time to start a Hue Hoi An tour is around 7 am, due to the following reasons:
- Departing from Hue too early is dangerous, because the roads are still foggy and slippery.
- If you depart at 7 am, you will arrive in Hoi An at around 10 am. Thus, you will have enough time to check in at the hotel and find some good spots to enjoy lunch.
- If you want to visit Da Nang along the way, you will arrive at about 9 am. After visiting some famous spots such as Linh Ung Pagoda, My Khe Beach, etc, you can head to Hoi An. You will arrive in time to check in at noon and take a rest to prepare for the afternoon trip.

4. How to travel from Hue to Hoi An and vice versa?
4.1. The recommended directions
Starting at the center of Hue, go along An Duong Vuong Street and Nguyen Tat Thanh Street. Then, head to National Road 1A, go straight for about 26 kilometers, pass Ly Thanh Tong Street and turn left to enter Phuoc Tuong Tunnel.
Getting out of the tunnel, if you continue to travel on National Road 1A, you will reach the junction of Hai Van Pass. At this point, you are recommended to turn right to go through the pass. You can also take a break at the back of Hai Van Pass to see the spectacular Bach Ma Mountain.
Going through Hai Van Pass, head to Lien Kieu Bridge. Go along Nguyen Van Cu Street, then cross Nam O Bridge to reach Nguyen Luong Bang Street. When you see the intersection, turn left to Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, go straight, and turn right at the end of the street.
After that, head to Nguyen Sinh Trac Street, go straight and cross the intersection to enter Hoang Thi Loan Street. Here, pass the roundabout to Truong Chinh Street. At this point, go along Truong Chinh Street for about 5 kilometers before turning left to Le Dai Hanh Street.
Take the first exit at the roundabout here to enter Nguyen Huu Tho Street. Go straight until you come across Nguyen Tri Phuong Bridge. Here, you can continue on Nguyen Tri Cong Street for about 6 kilometers, then turn right to Tran Dai Nghia Street.
You are very close to Hoi An now. Go along Tran Dai Nghia Street a bit more and you will enter Hoi An.

4.2. The best means of transportation

- By motorbike

Some notable service providers that you should consider are KT Travel, TheSinhTourist, Happy Travel, and Huetourist. You can easily buy tickets at the bus station or simply book your tickets online in advance and wait until the departure time.
- By taxi
Traveling by taxi is the fastest and most convenient way to fulfill your Hue Hoi An trip. You can get a taxi on the street without the need to book in advance. A taxi trip normally takes around 3 hours, so you will have more time to visit the famous locations in the city.
