4.2. How to get there
To get to Phong Nha Botanic Garden from Dong Hoi, make your way to National Road 16 (QL16), also known as Ho Chi Minh Trail. After about 40 kilometers, turn left onto Provincial Road 20 (DT20). This road will lead you to the botanic garden.

Phong Nha Botanic Garden is open daily from 7 AM to 5 PM. It is best to arrive early to explore all the areas here, especially in summer when the midday heat can be intense.
If you come by yourself, you can get a standard ticket to the botanic garden for VND 80,000. This ticket is free of charge for children under 1.3 meters tall.
