2. Khe Trai Tunnels (Thua Thien Hue)

Khe Trai Tunnels, located approximately 25 kilometers northwest of Hue City, are an intriguing historical site that comprises various structures and features. Among the notable components are a memorial monument, a three-door sentry tunnel constructed in a Y-shape on the slopes of May Nha mountain, informative signage describing the heritage site, resting pavilions with scenic views, Hoang Cam kitchen, and an artillery battlefield positioned atop the mountain peak.

3. Ky Anh Tunnels (Quang Nam) – Among the famous tunnels in Vietnam

Nam Hong Tunnels, located in Dong Anh District, Hanoi, hold a significant place in Vietnam’s history, particularly during the Second Indochina War. This network of tunnels was constructed by the local inhabitants of Nam Hong Commune in 1947 in response to the frequent attacks and raids experienced by the community during the conflict. 6. Vinh Moc Tunnels (Quang Tri) – The must-visit underground tunnels in Vietnam for history buffs

Vinh Moc Tunnels, an essential destination for history enthusiasts exploring tunnels in Vietnam, extend over 2 kilometers and consist of three levels. 

The first level, located approximately 15 meters deep, served as a temporary shelter and combat zone. The third level, situated 22 meters below ground, functioned as a storage area for supplies, catering to Con Co Island and supporting the people’s resistance efforts in the Vinh Moc area.

7. Mui Si Tunnel (Quang Tri)

Mui Si Tunnel, situated in the town of Cua Tung, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri Province remains almost untouched and undiscovered by many. These tunnels, created by village people during the years of resistance against the United States, served as both shelters and logistical routes for combat, transporting essential supplies and weaponry to the front lines. 8. Other tunnels in Vinh Linh Tunnel Village (Quang Tri)
