  • Sea transit: During sea transit in Vietnam, a transit visa is not required for foreigners. They must remain in the designated seaport transit area while the ship is docked. However, it is crucial to ascertain if a Vietnam visa needed based on the traveler’s nationality and purpose of travel. For domestic sightseeing with an international travel company, foreigners can acquire a suitable visa for the transit time. Exiting via another border checkpoint might warrant consideration for a VR-marked visa.
