Cai Bau Pagoda in Quang Ninh was built on the foundations of Phuc Linh Pagoda, which dates back over 700 years to the Tran Dynasty. Over the centuries, it suffered significant damage due to historical upheavals. In the 1990s, efforts were made to restore the temple, but the renovations remained simple and lacked proper planning. In 2007, a large-scale reconstruction project began, which was entirely funded through social contributions.
