One of the quickest ways to reach Con Dao from Ho Chi Minh City is by plane. Departing from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the only airport in Ho Chi Minh City, your flight will arrive at Con Son Airport on Con Dao, with an average flight time of 1 hour. Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao. Round-trip tickets cost from around VND 2,750,000. Upon landing, you can get to the town center by motorbike or taxi, which will cover the 15-kilometer distance in about 25 minutes.

One-way helicopter fares are VND 1,980,000 for children aged 2-11, VND 2,200,000 for adults, and free for children under 2 years old. Reservations should be made 1-2 months in advance. Passengers should arrive 90 minutes before departure for check-in.
