Covering an area of approximately 6.3 hectares, with nearly 2.5 hectares dedicated to the memorial structures, the site has been carefully preserved and expanded over the years. 

2.7. Ngoc Vung Island National Flagpole

The Ngoc Vung Island National Flagpole stands as a proud symbol of Vietnam’s sovereignty. Originally designed and constructed by Viettel Design Consulting JSC, the flagpole was initially 58 meters tall and positioned on Tung Ly Mountain, which rises 94.6 meters above sea level. Now, it is 29 meters, with the flag measuring 24 square meters. Visitors who make the climb to the top can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the island and the surrounding sea. 

2.8. Cau Lau Freshwater Lake

Cau Lau Freshwater Lake is a water reservoir on Ngoc Vung Island, covering an area of over 9.1 hectares. It was constructed in 2003 and completed with a full water supply system in 2012. It provides drinking water to around 200 households and irrigates over 26 hectares of rice fields on the island.
