2. Must-try experiences in Phuoc Binh National Park

2.1. Explore scenic trekking routes

Phuoc Binh National Park offers three trekking options: following the stream, walking along narrow forest trails, or a combination of both. The stream route features pristine waterfalls, bamboo forests, and reed thickets. The trail route lets you see ancient trees, hidden houses, and Churu and Raglai villages. The combined route provides a mix of both experiences.

As you explore the park, you will cross Da Nhong Stream, visit botanical gardens, and discover waterfalls such as Duoi Rong, Da Ban, and Ba Tang. You might also spot Pi-nang Tac stone traps, Ham Xe Lua Waterfall, and Hon Chan during your trek.

2.2. Camp in the forest

The Da Nhong – Da Ban – Da Den system is perfect for forest camping. This scenic route, stretching about 11 kilometers from Lam Dong to Ninh Thuan, features the waterfalls of Da Ban and Da Den alongside Da Nhong Stream.

At Da Nhong, you can enjoy the pristine beauty of the cool, refreshing stream and the peaceful, secluded surroundings. With a height of around 3 meters, Da Nhong Stream is ideal for a midday swim and diving from the rocks into the deeper pool.

The Da Ban – Da Den area offers plenty of open rock platforms for picnicking, camping, fishing, and waterfall exploration. The lake here is teeming with stream fish, so you can catch and grill one while enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

2.3. Visit the conservation area for bulls

Phuoc Binh National Park is the only place in Vietnam dedicated to the care of a herd of bulls. The story began in 2008 when a male wild bull from the forests near Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan wandered to Ta Nin Mountain, where it mated with local cows tended by the Raglai people, resulting in nearly 20 offspring. Today, the herd consists of 12 individuals, all of which are well cared for by the park for tourism purposes. Most visitors make a point of seeing and learning about these bulls, making them a key attraction in the park’s ecotourism.

2.4. Hunt for clouds

Spring is an ideal time for travelers to experience the thrill of cloud hunting. The best time for cloud hunting in Phuoc Binh National Park is 5 AM. From the center of Phuoc Binh Commune, walk about 2 kilometers to the middle of the hill for an exceptional experience. You will be treated to breathtaking views of rolling hills and a sea of white clouds drifting gently below you. The morning sunlight will bathe the mountains and forests in a golden glow. Don’t forget your camera to capture this stunning scene.

2.5. Indulge in the local culture in Churu and Raglai villages
