The art program brings jubilant cultural parties, adding to the joyful atmosphere right before the New Year, giving visitors new Tet emotions through experiences reminiscing traditional roots: Ban Soc Ceremony – New year calendar giving ceremony of the Nguyen Dynasty, Luc cung hoa dang dance, the performance recreates the scene of the King giving orders to celebrate the new year, the sacred Dragon Dance to welcome spring & festival drums, Hoang Thanh night street with unique minishows such as Co Doi Thuong Ngan trance ceremony, ancient music, ancient costume parades, lantern releasing ceremonies bring wishes for a lucky new year…

GIA LAC SPRING MARKET

• Time: 30th December (Lunar calendar) – 10th day of Tet,  February 9 – February 19, 2024
• Location: The Quintessence of Vietnam, Grand World Phu Quoc

Enjoy a series of minishows honoring traditional practices and rituals often celebrated by ancient Vietnamese people throughout the three regions during Tet to pray for a prosperous new year: Vietnamese Heritage Ao Dai Festival, Lucky Charm parade, minishow “Spring morning in the Capital: Parents’ Tet, Teacher’s Tet”, Welcome Spring Ceremony, Imperial Citadel’s night street, The King’s personal visit, Blessed opening ceremony, Spring songs & concerts, Announcement of the King’s order, Spring wedding, folk games during every Tet holiday such as throwing bamboo basketballs, darts, hoops, Cheraw dance…, releasing lanterns. Enjoy traditional Vietnamese dishes such as pho, banh chung – banh day, peanut candy, Voi water etc.; experience making your own handmade cakes under the guidance of artisans.

2. A series of new spring outing activities at Phu Quoc United Center

STREET FOOD FESTIVAL
